During this period, we got to find a time to meet up and share the data that has been collected. We also started to compile our data into the slides as to prepare for the upcoming presentation.

FEEDBACK

Week 3 : During the trip, we were told to collect as much data as we can as it will be useful for us when producing the final outcome.

Week 4 : Mr Charles commented on our presentation and said that our explanation for the data was very detail. He also asked us to start thinking and work on the idea for the final outcome.

REFLECTION

Experiences :

Week 3 : This week, we went to Korea for the purpose of collecting data as a part of research for our final project. It's been the second times I travel to this country, but the feeling is totally different as I'm going with my classmates this time. Throughout the days at Korea, I managed to visit different places that I always want to go and gathered the data that would be useful for my final project.
Week 4 : For this week, I meet up with my group members in order to share the data collected with them. In preparation for the upcoming presentation, we also start to compile the data we have into a slide.

Observations :

Week 3 : I realised that Korean are not afraid on using the bright colours to everything around them and it can be seen from their architecture, clothings to food. Also, motifs and colours that have been used around their country makes me feel like being surrounded with the richness of their culture.
Week 4 : I observed that we manage to gather similar and different data when we walk separately.

Findings :

Week 3 : Before heading to Korea, my group mates and I found out the five traditional colours of Korea known as Obangsaek. Hence, we decided to find out more about these colours there. However, we found that there were more of the colours from Ogansaek being applied in their design than Obangsaek. It was only then we found out Ogansaek is commonly used harmoniously in traditional Korean designs. Also, I realised some Korean doesn't know about these traditional colours in their country when interact with the student at Hanyang University.
Week 4 : From the discussion, we all agreed that Korean use more Ogansaek in their traditional design. Therefore, we decided to make us of both Obangsaek and Ogansaek to produce an artwork for our final project.
